Though it was later abandoned in favor of Ossus, the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, and various other locations around the galaxy, Tython has been forever revered as the birthplace of the Jedi Order. Since the Sacking of the Temple and the Treaty of Coruscant, the Jedi Knights have retreated here to rebuild and renew their numbers, while continuing to focus on deepening their connection to the Force. While it is home to the Jedi and a small settlement of Twi’leks, other denizens of Tython include the Flesh Raiders, a primitive tribal people. The native fauna such as Uxibeasts and Horranths, are largely docile, though there are exceptions. Beware the Kaleth Ruins, however, as ancient droids still keep watch over the secrets of the ancient Je’daii and ward off all intruders.
